Senior Accountant
| The Senior Accountant has to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. Senior Accountant must combine excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The senior accountant collaborates with the accounting Team and ensures accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks. |
• Record accounting transactions (Purchases / operating expenses / assets / depreciations/ etc..) for the company and projects under the Accounting & Finance Manager direction.
• Follow up with the cashier supervisor to ensure accuracy in numbers and cash closing process.
• Control the inventory movements IN/OUT as per the Accounting & Finance Manager direction.
• Create new items to be added to the store.
• Perform monthly reconciliations with the suppliers and banks accounts.
• Prepare payments to suppliers as per the Accounting & Finance Manager direction.
• Record payments, bank transfers, letters, cheques if any.
• Handle and control all accounting issues related to the Accounts Payable division.
• Supervise any required employee as per the Accounting Manager direction.
• Participate in cost control and pricing process along with the updates in market prices.
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports as per the Accounting & Finance Manager
• Review financial statements with Accounting & Finance Manager.
Requirements and Skills:
• Proven working experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Accounting software and databases.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• BA degree in Accounting and Finance.
• Highly motivated and Team oriented.
• Valuable work ethics.
